WHO IS THE SEA?
The SEA, or Simsbury Education Association, is the local public teacher's union for public school educators in the town of Simsbury, Connecticut.
WHO ARE YOUR AFFILIATES?
The SEA is affiliated with the Connecticut Education Association (CEA) and the National Education Association (NEA).

CAN I ATTEND AN SEA MEETING TO RAISE AN ISSUE OR GET INVOLVED?
Absolutely! The SEA holds a monthly members' meeting on the last Tuesday of each month, September - May, 3:45 pm at Squadron Line School Library Media Center. Any member is welcome to attend one of these meetings.
WHAT ARE MY RIGHTS IF I AM ASKED TO ATTEND A DISCIPLINARY MEETING, OR IF A CONVERSATION WITH A SUPERVISOR INVOLVES DISCIPLINE?
You have a right to union representation for all discussions that may be disciplinary in nature. If you feel that a conversation or meeting is disciplinary, and you would like Union representation, please calmly read the statement below to your supervisor.
